On June 20, 2025, P&B Communication, Kenya had the pleasure of partnering with the Association of Consulting Engineers of Kenya – Future Leaders Chapter (ACEK-FL) to deliver a highly engaging and practical training session on Communication Skills for Engineers.
The session brought together consulting engineers from across sectors including mining, energy, construction, and infrastructure, highlighting the growing interest in communication as a core competency in technical industries.
Over the course of an hour and a half, the session explored critical communication skills engineers need to thrive in today’s project-driven, client-focused, and highly collaborative environment. Key topics included:
- Branding communication and brand identity for engineers
- Media relations and engaging effectively with press and digital platforms
- Visual communication strategies for branding and storytelling
- Networking and building a visible professional presence
- Presentation skills
- Interpersonal communication, including non-verbal cues, oral communication, and client relationship management

The session was designed to equip engineers in diverse fields with handson communication skills for career and business development.
The session also featured a lively Q&A segment, where participants raised thought-provoking questions—most notably around personal branding especially on digital platforms
Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Many found the training “insightful,” “practical,” and “eye-opening”.
At P&B Communication, we understand that great engineering solutions need equally great communication. Our mission is to help technical professionals and organizations transform their communication—from project briefs to visibility.
